Paris, February 15th, 2023 – Devoteam, a technology consulting company with over 10,000 employees in 20 countries across EMEA, has reached more than one billion euros turnover in 2022.
In a context of uncertainty where companies must continue to accelerate their digital transformation to take advantage of technology, Devoteam’s results attest to the relevance of the group’s strategy.
With strong DNA as a tech company, Devoteam has been able to consolidate its offers around Cloud, cybersecurity, data, transformation, and sustainability expertise.
One billion-euro turnover milestone in 2022.
After taking back control of their company in December 2021, with the help of their financial partner KKR, the founding shareholders, Godefroy and Stanislas de Bentzmann had set themselves the target of reaching €1 billion in turnover by 2022. This delisting – giving them strategic independence – was a real boost for the company and has borne fruit since Devoteam announced that it had reached its target for 2022 with an operating margin of more than €100 million and growth of 20%, of which 16% was organic.
“One year after the squeeze-out of Devoteam shares on December 31st, 2021, we are proud to reach the €1 billion revenue milestone in 2022. This is a decisive first win that confirms our choices and the continued implementation of our strategic plan,” said Stanislas de Bentzmann, CEO and Co-Founder of Devoteam.
A unique market player and a successful strategy.
“In an ever-evolving technological environment, companies want to better manage their Cloud and control their energy costs, better govern their data and ensure their security and sovereignty. The market is complex and they need to be guided in their tech choices. Our customers trust us to advise them, to bring them the best of technology, and to strengthen their resilience.”
“Our business is driven by talent density and massive investment in training, as well as by the technology choices that have the most impact on our clients. Our approach is unique in that we offer cutting-edge niche technical skills. With our annual TechRadar, a 100% agnostic guide produced by Devoteam’s top experts, we also play the role of a pathfinder and enable companies to find their way through the myriad of emerging technologies,” explains Godefroy de Bentzmann, CEO and Co-Founder of Devoteam.
“Technology defines Devoteam and is in our DNA. Each year, we are rewarded by the 5 partners we have defined as strategic, this is in large part due to our high levels of certification on their respective offerings. We are strengthening our expertise by recruiting nearly 1,500 employees in 2023 and we are accelerating our training drive on the most efficient Clouds and platforms, with the objective of 70% of our consultants being certified by 2024” adds Sébastien Chevrel, Managing Director of the Devoteam Group.
Building on the success of its partnership strategy with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, Devoteam is continuing to strengthen its investments with the main Cloud players and has set itself a new goal of doubling its size in the next five years.
“We are one of the few players in the world to have signed a strategic collaboration agreement with AWS for a period of four years. We’ve also been awarded EMEA Sales Partner of the Year for the 3rd year in-a-row by Google Cloud. Finally, last year, Devoteam has become a Global Microsoft Partner and reached a leading position in EMEA in Solution Area Specializations “, says Sébastien Chevrel.
In addition, Devoteam is also investing in the sovereign cloud and is pursuing its partnerships with OVH Cloud and Google-Thales.
To accompany these Cloud offerings, the strategic plan also focuses on high-value-added services that are key to digital transformation, from consulting to design, from integration to Managed Cloud Services.
This plan also relies on the integration of cutting-edge technologies in cybersecurity, data, and hyper-automation, with the sustainability offer to support companies in their sustainable development strategy through technology. Devoteam has also announced the recruitment of an expert in the field, Hervé Dumas, as Vice President of Sustainability.
“We are convinced that technology has a central and major role to play in this transformation. Hervé Dumas, one of the leaders in the field, joins Devoteam to achieve our ambitious goals,” explains Stanislas de Bentzmann, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Devoteam.
